On Monday, 5th December 2022, the two Greek pilot courses, Inclusive Tourism Manager (ITM) and the Inclusive Tourism Frontline Staff (ITFS), officially started with their first online sessions! Coming from all over Greece, the majority of the trainees are either already employees in the Tourism sector, or have studied Tourism at university. In total, 86 trainees have been registered, with 43 learners in the ITM course and 44 in the ITFS course.

The ITM course is open to graduates of Tourism, Business Administration and other related degrees, who now work as either senior managers or owners of companies and operators within the tourism sector. The ITFS course is open to undergraduates or graduates of Tourism, Business Administration, or other relevant degrees. Graduates of Vocational Education and Training (VET) programmes specialising in tourism, who work in businesses within the Tourism sector, are also encouraged to join the ITFS course. The structure and design of both these programmes are based on the corresponding European Curricula developed for In-Tour.

The two courses are delivered in the form of distance asynchronous and synchronous learning, which means a combination of self-paced learning and online teleconferences delivered via the In-Tour Platform. The lessons were designed and developed by the Hellenic Open University with the DAISSy research group, and are provided by KEDIVIM HOU (the Centre for Training and Lifelong Learning at the Hellenic Open University). Students can acquire ECTS and a Certificate of Continuous Learning at the end of their studies.
