If you could use three adjectives to describe this Master Course, which ones would you choose? And why?

This Master Course is:

  • Broad because its syllabus is comprised of different topics related to inclusive tourism, which are taught by both academics, as well as by outstanding professionals.
  • Challenging, as it pushes the teaching staff to focus on the particular dimension of inclusive tourism, starting from different scientific perspectives, and to find the best teaching methods that engage students, a few of whom with disabilities themselves.
  • Innovative because there are very few other educational opportunities in this field, and this one is pushing both the teaching staff and the students to deepen their knowledge and improve their practical expertise on inclusive tourism.

How would you describe the level of engagement between your students?
The level of engagement between the students is high – they are very open to teamwork and cooperation.

What are your hopes when it comes to the future of this Master Course?
Our hope is that the great deal of work carried out to develop this pilot Master Course can find continuation in further use, either as part of an academic Master's degree module on inclusive tourism, or in other high-profile educational activities, inside or outside Higher Education.
