A new MOOC learning opportunity on the topic of Inclusive Tourism!

Today we are happy to inform you about a new MOOC learning opportunity on the topic of "Inclusive Tourism", which we have developed in the current EU project "In-Tour - INclusive TOURism professions". The course is free of charge and available for an unlimited time. Please note that this course is only available in German.

What is it about?

In the five modules included in the course, you will acquire knowledge and competencies related to the development, implementation, and evaluation of touristic interactions and services, taking into account relevant impairments and accessibility requirements.

Who is it for?

The MOOC is part of a European curriculum in Italy, Greece, and Germany, and is not only aimed at tourism professionals who want to use and develop the potential of inclusive tourism. We seek to open up this MOOC to people working in other professions who are equally concerned with the issue of inclusion.

What does MOOC stand for?

MOOC stands for "Massive Open Online Course" and refers to a free form of online learning material, accessible to an unlimited number of participants. The MOOC can be completed flexibly and independently, according to your learning pace and preferences.

How can I access it?

To enrol in the MOOC, register at the following link with your email address:

How much time do I need, and do I get a certificate?

On average, we estimate that the MOOC would take approximately 6 hours to complete. When you complete the modules, you will receive a continuing education certificate from the Dresden University of Applied Sciences.

What is the goal of the In-Tour project?

The In-Tour project closes a gap in the European education system and in the tourism sector by creating a flexible and modular European curriculum for accessible tourism on EQF 6 and EQF 5 levels. On the one hand, this course seeks to improve accessibility for people with impairments in the tourism sector, and, on the other, aims to strengthen its competitiveness.

If you have any questions about enrollment, the MOOC or the project, please feel free to contact us. The best way is to send us an email at intour@fh-dresden.eu.

We hope you enjoy learning with the MOOC!
