CAMVA, Cámara Valladolid

The Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Services is a public law corporation created for the following purposes: a) The representation, promotion and defence of the general interests of commerce and industry b) The provision of services to the company.

The activities of the Chamber are: 1) Representation of General Interest of all companies, 2) The internationalisation of enterprises and the promotion of foreign trade 3) Information and advice to companies to help improve their competitiveness 4) Information and assessment to companies 5) Other support activities (business creation, commercial arbitration, training…) 6) Innovation for companies.

The Chamber of Commerce has more than 30.000 members (companies) in Valladolid. The Law 1/2014 of Chambers of Commerce, Industry, Services and Navigation is the legal text which describes the legal nature and purpose of the cameras; its functions, its territorial scope and organisation, its economic system and legal and budgetary regime.

The Chamber of Commerce has been growing Spanish business for more than 125 years, providing companies with practical support, useful connections and valuable access to new ideas and innovations.

The Chamber of Commerce of Valladolid is also in charge of local entrepreneurship through its own business incubator, which has helped over 120 companies to start their business only the last year.

Also, the Chamber of Commerce has been participating in other European projects: ERASMUS+ VECTOR, INTERREG POCTEP TIMMIS, INTERREG POCTEP REINOVA and INTERREG POCTEP REINOVA SI all related to improving the competitiveness of companies and the skills of the human resources that are part of them.
