AFBB, Akademie für berufliche Bildung

AFBB has its headquarters in Dresden. With its subsidiaries in Berlin and Cologne, it has several vocational schools as well as a private university of applied sciences with a total of about 1.500 trainees and students in 25 professions. The various education programs are characterised by quality and practical training and lead to recognised qualifications.

Furthermore, AFBB has extensive experience in the implementation of several EU-funded projects as Lead Partner and project partner. In former Leonardo-da-Vinci projects “Proper chance” and “Relate” AFBB was responsible for the coordination and implementation of the project quality standards. In addition, the first project mentioned included extensive work on implementing ECVET and EQAVET in the field of health and social care as well as the work in the SSA-project “ENhANCE”. Due to this AFBB was a predestined partner for quality assurance and assessment within this project. Using and transferring that knowledge, helped to ensure that the project’s objectives would not only be reached but also be implemented in an excellent way.
